I'd like to think I'm pretty moderate politically. Or at least, I hope I am. That is to say, I neither think the government should be too big, or too small.
But just the other day the community college I work for allowed an organization called Big Government Sucks to have an event on campus.
Now you tell me, isn't that just a bit ironic, given the fact the college is an institution funded at least in part by taxes and state appropriations? Would the tuition be as cheap for the tens of thousands of students that have come and gone if the whole thing wasn't subsidized?
To sump up: I don't prance back and forth in front of General Motors' headquarters with a sign that says, "Capitalism Blows."
